Acupuncture originated in China and other far eastern cultures where it still features in mainstream healthcare, both as a stand-alone therapy and in combination with conventional western medicine. Acupuncture is now widely used and accepted all over the world, The World Health Organisation has recognised that acupuncture is effective for many conditions. Nausea, Vomiting, digestive problems, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Post operative pain and some menstrual disorders. This is by no means a comprehensive list and the exclusion of your particular condition does not mean that it can not be treated.
