About the Business
I was first introduced to acupuncture as part of a physiotherapy treatment for knee pain. The effect of the acupuncture above manual therapy was remarkable and the knowledge of my practitioner regarding Traditional Chinese Acupuncture was impressive. This sparked an interest in wanting to find out more about this different system of medicine and working with energy.
I have studied for four years at the University of Huddersfield and then at the highly regarded Northern College of Acupuncture at York where I gained my Bachelor of Science degree (Hons) in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council, who maintain standards of practice for the Acupuncture profession and ensure members remain informed about current research. I actively participate in my own professional development by keeping up to date with clinical research.
