Because of our location close to the Northern Line stations of Colliers Wood and South Wimbledon, we are easy to get to from Tooting Bec, Tooting Broadway, Mitcham and Morden, as well as Wimbledon itself.
In multibed clinics, such as Community Spirit, several people are treated together in a large room. The beds are separated by screens to ensure privacy. During most acupuncture sessions, the patient will relax on the bed for 20-30 minutes to allow the treatment to work. This allows the practitioner to begin treating another patient before the treatment ends.
The main advantage of the multibed setting is that, by utilising a large room with lower overheads, acupuncture can be provided at a fraction of the cost of a private, one-to-one session. Acupuncture remains effective in a multibed clinic, too.
