About the Business
I am a traditional acupuncturist with a long term interest in health. I completed a degree specialising in acupuncture augmented with complimentary techniques including gua sha, cupping, therapeutic massage techniques, auricular acupuncture and western medical acupuncture. As a member of the British Acupuncture Council (which is the main governing body for the practice of acupuncture in the UK) I exceed the highest ethical standards and work to strict local and national health and hygiene standards. I spend time each week working in the NHS (specialising in pain elimination and reduction through acupuncture) at Broomfield hospital. This has given me an even greater insight into ways in which acupuncture can be used in conjunction with Western medicine, as well as a standalone therapy.
My interest in acupuncture has been a natural progression from an early interest in sport and fitness, through general health to acupuncture specifically.
