Tuina massage, cupping and moxibustion are often used alongside acupuncture or instead of it for those who wish to experience other components of Chinese Medicine. Can acupuncture help me? Acupuncture treatment is always based on each person's unique context - there is no such thing as one size fits all in Chinese medicine.
However there is plenty of research on the effectiveness of acupuncture for many conditions. What should I expect? As a practitioner I feel it is important to keep each person involved in their own treatment. I always explain what I am doing at each step and am always happy to answer questions.
