About the Business
She is a fully qualified acupuncturist, registered with the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC). She studied Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture to degree level at the accredited University of Westminster, London. As well as acupuncture, Gemma offers treatments involving cupping, moxibustion, and tuina (Chinese massage). She is also a qualified Thai massage therapist.
Acupuncture is a holistic therapy, therefore many aspects are taken into account before reaching a diagnosis, such as diet, lifestyle and medical history. As such, advice in these areas will be given alongside a physical treatment. Palpation of the pulse and observation of the tongue are also used in diagnosis.
