Acupuncture and Herbs
Acupuncture is now widely used and accepted all over the world and in the UK. There are over 3000 qualified Acupuncturists registered with the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC).
BAcC members have completed a first-degree-level training or equivalent in traditional acupuncture including substantial elements of western anatomy, physiology and pathology. Your BAcC acupuncturist will record all relevant details of your health condition and your medical history before treatment commences. Occasionally, based on this information, you may be referred to your GP for further investigation.
Only pre-sterilised single-use needles are used and are safely disposed of after your treatment. BAcC Codes of Safe Practice and Professional Conduct are followed at all times. BAcC members have full medical malpractice and public/product liability insurance cover. Nicola is also a member of the Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine (RCHM) and can offer treatment with Chinese Herbs if she feels this is necessary.
