About the Business
A first consultation and treatment takes 1 hour 30 minutes. During this session, we will discuss the problem you are looking for help with. We will cover all aspects of your condition, including any conventional medical diagnoses you have. This will allow me to understand your current state of health, how the problem you are experiencing came about and how we can understand this from a Chinese medicine and Acupuncture perspective. For each client this discussion is different, as each persons life experience and development of symptoms is different.
Once we have talked through the different aspects of your life and health, I will do some Acupuncture and/or Cupping or Gua Sha. I will ask you to roll your trousers up to your knees, and your sleeves up to your elbows (almost all the points I use are in your lower leg and your forearm). Then I will ask you to relax comfortably on a heated reclining chair.
