About the Business
Choosing an acupuncturist or massage therapist is an important decision. You want someone who is caring, knowledgeable, experienced and fully qualified. Someone willing to take the time to understand your needs and who will treat you as a individual, not just another client.
My training at the Northern College of Acupuncture in York was three years, including time spent in their teaching clinic. After that I trained in Remedial Massage at the Northern Institute of Massage, to complement my skills in musculoskeletal treatments. Over the years I have done extra training in acupuncture to support fertility, pregnancy and addictions. For five years I worked for Sure Start Children's Centres, providing an acupuncture and massage service to parents of young children, and pregnant women.
I work on Wednesdays and Fridays at a fabulous clinic, The Remedy Centre in Ashton on Ribble, Preston, where I have a lovely peaceful treatment room.
