I have worked as an acupuncturist for the past 8 years since qualifying from the Northern College of Acupuncture in York. I love acupuncture; the relationships between myself and the individuals I treat is the balance between people being encouraged to take take personal responsibility for their own health, whilst being treated by a system of health care whose principles have been developed and researched over 2000 years.

Acupuncture involves the insertion of very fine needles into specific points on the body to regulate the flow of 'qi', your body's vital energy.

So what can I do for you! The Chinese have a saying that acupuncture can treat every condition but not necessarily cure every case. That seems fair. Although if you ask me if I can make a difference, I'll more than likely say yes. It would seem to me, that to say anything else is an admission of failure.
