About the Business
Annetta has been a shiatsu practitioner since 2001. To deepen her understanding of Chinese medicine she studied Tui na and acupuncture and in 2007 she graduated with an honours degree in acupuncture from the London College of Traditional Acupuncture (LCTA). She has undertaken further studies with Dr Tan and now incorporates Dr Tan’s balancing method in her treatments.
For five years she assisted in the Tui na clinic at the London College of Traditional Acupuncture and in a low cost acupuncture clinic in Blackheath. Her interests are women’s health, fertility and pregnancy and pain relief.
Ghila has always been interested in health and well-being on a personal level, which led her to have a career in the health and medical profession. Ghila began her career as a Clinical Dietician, graduating from the Hebrew University (Israel) in 1990 and working in hospitals in Israel.
Understanding the importance of equilibrium between the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of the individual, Ghila became interested in alternative therapies to complement traditional treatments. Whilst working as a dietician, she studied Traditional Chinese Medicine and worked in a Chinese medicine hospital in Nanjing in China. Ghila also studied Chinese Nutritional Therapy and Shiatsu, which she incorporates into her treatments.
Ghila has been a successful practitioner since 1991 and has helped many people with a wide variety of needs, from depression and anxiety to headache and back pain.
Ghila is interested in women’s health care and treats menstrual disorders, menopausal symptoms and infertility. She also treats women throughout pregnancy and childbirth, offering natural induction and pain relief during child birth.

Acupuncture
What is acupuncture?
You probably understand that there is a link between your physical, mental and emotional health. If you have a problem with one area, it is likely that the other two will be affected. Acupuncture looks at pain and illness as signs that your body is out of balance. It’s a comprehensive health care system whose aim is to restore your body’s equilibrium so you feel physically, mentally and emotionally balanced.
When you come and see us, we look at the signs and symptoms that your body shows us – such as the temperature, colour, swelling and pain of your body. We can help you with specific disorders and, crucially, if you just have a vague feeling of not feeling quite right.
When you have acupuncture, fine sterile needles are inserted on specific points on your body with the aim of helping your body function to the best of its ability.
